The Gromače are villas located in the contact zone towards the protected area of the Channel-Port. Conceptually, they are a contemporary reinterpretation of a typical Dalmatian landscape partitioned by dry stone wall construction. On the edges of the plot, thin and long volumes that resemble dry stone walls are built where the facilities complementary to the basic housing program (such as wine cellar, summer kitchen, guest apartment, sauna, etc.) are located. Within such enclosed plots, transparent amoeboid volumes are placed, which resemble greenery within the dry stone wall fences, and where living rooms, dining room, sleeping area are located. In this way, compositionally, a series of dichotomous spatial relationships is achieved: served – servant, solid – transparent, winter – summer, basic program – program +, geometric – fluid, etc. The villas are ground floor, in 3, 4 and 5 room variants. The total number of Gromača is 12.
