The construction of the Cathedral of St. James, a small architectural masterpiece that successfully merged Gothic and Renaissance features, took 105 years, and its most influential architects were George the Dalmatian and Nicholas of Florence.<\/p><p>The execution of the Cathedral\u2019s dome is considered one of the best achievements in the Renaissance
